Anne Marie Brown is a 32-year-old poetess who took a life sabbatical to write and travel. She holds and MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a BA in creative writing, poetry from Colorado College. She has been in the luxury travel industry for ten years, and has traveled to over 37 countries.

Anne Marie believes poetry should, above all, bring joy to the reader. She grew up on Shel Silverstein and loves how rhyme and meter can lighten verse and force creativity. Think of her like a female Dr. Seuss, if Dr. Seuss consumed a lot of rosé and wrote about adulting.

Anne Marie spends her free time cuddling her fur children (Tucker the dog and Wicklow the cat), tormenting her husband (Matt), and eating brunch whenever she can.
